Default How to submit your Favorite levels

To upload your Favorite levels for others to play and try to beat, do the following steps:
  1. Go the Favorites screen from the main menu.
  2. Select the Favorite level you want to upload.
    1. Note: You can create new Favorites by selecting Add To Favorites from the Pause Menu or at the results screen.
  3. Click the Email button.
    1. This may or may not launch your email browser, depending on how you have your OS configured.
    2. It will also open up a window with a file. The file has your Favorite name plus a bunch of letters and numbers and then finally ending in .PATHSTORM. The file can be used by others to play your level.
  4. Use your web browser and go to the Cavebug forums. In the Pathstorm - User Favorites forum, create a new thread.
  5. Create your message and attach the .PATHSTORM file using the Manage Attachments button.
  6. Preview your post and then, if you are happy with it, submit it.
That's all there is to it! If you have any problems, don't hesitate to ask for help here.

Red face odd shaped levels?

Can we (as users) make them in puzzle mode? If so, how's it done? Thx!

Default Custom levels

Ugh. No. We have an editor for creating custom-shaped levels and placing specific pieces. We ended up not shipping it with the game because it wasn't quite ready for public consumption (translation: it's ugly and sometimes a little a buggy, but it does get the job done and can be pretty fun). Maybe Josh and I need to put our heads together and rethink that decision. We'd both absolutely love to see others creating cool levels.

I bet that would be the impetus to get clever folks making some really cool levels. Obvious next question--is there a chance of getting new actual level *sets* (as opposed to individual boards) from Cavebug and/or users? [I'm so greedy, I haven't even come close to finishing what I have in the game yet! hahah]

Sorry. Pathstorm doesn't support level sets. That's something we'll need to consider for a future version/update.
